Australian Clutch Services Launch New Range of Flywheel Grinders

Australian Clutch Services, the Adelaide based supplier of OE quality and performance upgrade clutch kits and components, have recently launched a new range of flywheel grinder machines. The machines have been developed to provide excellent value to workshops around Australia looking to invest in this market and include a wide range of options for each machine type.

Two models are currently available with the key difference being the type of guard that is used. One offers a 535mm high guard with doors for more efficient use of the machine. The other version offers a standard 300mm high guard. The grinders include a 4KW powerhead with a 9KW version also available as special order. The integration of a wash hose, work light and cooling system with settling tank allows for easy operation and efficiency.

“Our new range of flywheel grinders offers excellent efficiency and safety.” Says Brenton Jordan, Australian Clutch Services managing director, “The machine includes a 450mm wide rotary table to allow the machine to be used for a variety of different size flywheels, making it an ideal solution for workshops looking for a versatile machine.”

The flywheel grinder range is available with many different options upon request such as a magnetic table for easy flywheel setup, clutch pressure plate clamping device and Volkswagen flywheel support kit. “There are a number of different options available for the flywheel grinders to optimise their efficiency for various uses. This will be particularly useful for workshops or businesses that require specific attachments for these machines.”

A flywheel grinder offers the opportunity to expand a business’s capabilities by servicing workshops and DIY installers in the area. The grinders have been designed for industrial use and require low maintenance despite the high output achieved.
