Another podium finish for the Norton Hornets

After what was considered one of the most controversial and action packed Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000's in a number of years, the following round at the Gold Coast certainly didn't dissapoint either with 2 grueling 300km races on both the Saturday and the Sunday.

The Gold Coast 600 completes the last of the Enduro Cup with the Street Circuit claiming many victims along the way; it was again another action-packed weekend with many damaged and wounded cars struggling to even complete the race.

The Saturday race saw 102 laps with the No. 360 Nissan Altima driven by James Moffat and Taz Douglas finishing in 9th spot and the No. 36 Nissan Altima driven by Michael Caruso and Dean Fiore finishing in 5th spot.

The Sunday race saw a lot of strategies playing out with safety car periods playing a major part with many lead changes throughout the day. The No. 36 Nissan Altima driven by Michael and Dean showed good speed towards the later part of the race and with only laps remaining looked a certain podium and with a late challenge from Scott McLaughlin in the Volvo S60 the pair took 3rd for the final race of the weekend.
