Perth V8 Supercars Wrap Up

The Australian Clutch Services Nissan Motorsport team has enjoyed a strong finish to the Perth Supersprint with both Rick Kelly and Michael Caruso finishing inside the top ten.

ACS Driver Michael Caruso started Sunday’s race in 22nd position before fighting his way back through the field to finish in 9th place.

“Today ended up really good. To go back to last after a tussle with Todd at the beginning was a challenge, but to pass so many cars and make it back to 9th was a great result considering the circumstances. The boys in the pits did a fantastic job with strategy and it was great to showcase our race pace."

The second ACS driver Dale Wood had a challenging day whilst struggling with tyre conservation, resulting in a 19th place finish.

The strong result in Perth leaves Michael Caruso in 10th position overall in the championship with the next round to be held from the 20th to the 22nd of May at Winton Raceway, Victoria.
